Zlata Zolotykh, a third-year student at the SPbGASU Faculty of Civil Engineering, won the All-Russian professional competition of student projects “CAD-Perspective 2024”.
The “CAD-Perspective” competition is organized by the Nanosoft company. Future engineers compete to complete projects using software products from the nanoCAD line. This year, 95 students from 24 Russian universities took part in the competition.
The industrial building project, performed by Zlata Zolotykh under the guidance of senior lecturer at the SPbGASU Department of Architectural and Engineering Constructions, Alena Vedernikova, won an award in the category “Architecture of public and industrial buildings and structures”.
“It all started when the teacher of the subject of Architectural and engineering constructions of buildings and structures, Alena Andreevna Vedernikova, suggested that I complete a course project in the NanoCAD BIM Structures program. The offer interested me, because it is a new design program that combines drawings and 3D models. Throughout the semester I studied it and designed my building. When I found out about the competition, I decided that this was a great chance to try my strength and skills,” said Zlata.
The student set the task of developing a modern industrial building, combining two industrial and one administrative buildings, with a fixed number of employees working in two shifts. With the help of regulatory documents and the capabilities of the program, these tasks were successfully completed, and a 3D model of the building was created.
Zlata Zolotykh plans to further develop her skills in this program, in design in general, and participate in competitions. We wish her success!
