Second-year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management Viktoria Fefelova and Maria Cherkashina prepared a joint presentation and won first place in the annual competition “For Russia together for one” in a foreign language, which ended at the Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in early December.
- The purpose of the competition is to motivate young people to study foreign languages as a means of international communication, to promote the development of interests in the history, traditions and culture of Russia, to organize intellectual leisure, and to motivate students for self-education.
The competition participants succeeded by sharing their vision of Russia’s achievements in the field of economics and construction. In their presentation, Viktoria Fefelova and Maria Cherkashina focused on reducing the unemployment rate in Russia, increasing funding for the public sector of the economy, increasing the involvement of young personnel in the construction industry and their demand in the labor market. In addition, the students analyzed the factors influencing the development of the construction industry in Russia.
“I am very glad that I took part in this competition. This is important for young people, as it allows them to learn more about their homeland, its economic and construction achievements, as well as development prospects. In addition, the competition provides an opportunity to tell foreign students about our country and attract new students to participate next year. I think that this competition perfectly develops patriotic feelings and fosters pride in our Fatherland,” noted Viktoria Fefelova.
Congratulations on your victory!
