The results of an architectural competition «Architecturally - planned decision of the square of Youth» in the city of Vyborg were summed up in the beginning of November, 2016.

Students of V course Anna Belyaeva, Anastasia Ladigan and Julia Myznikova took part in the competition under the direction of a senior lecturer of the Chair of Design of Architectural Environment, a member of the Union of designers, Svetlana Borisovna Danilova. Prize-winning places: A.Beljaeva (II place) and A.Ladigan (III place).

The purposes and competition problems included creation of original architecturally-planned and volume-spatial decisions of a complex accomplishment of the square of Youth with the formation of modern comfortable environment for residing and population rest.

The works of the students presented interesting ideas of formation of architecturally-spatial environment taking into account functional features of the given territory. In an accomplishment of the square the students involved children's playgrounds, art objects and installations, a platform for wedding processions, and also various objects of a park accomplishment.

Whether the students’ projects find implementation in life, it will be known after town-planning council session in which juries and participants of the competition, and also townsmen of Vyborg will take part.
