On 6th February, 2017 a seminar «GREEN ZOOM - a practical tool for increasing power efficiency » took place at the Design office of SPSUACE «Clever city».

Students of IV course of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of SPSUACE took part in the seminar. The speakers were employees of the engineering company « Bureau of technics » Julia Mazovka and Andrey Tsvetkov.

GREEN ZOOM is the first Russian standard of power efficiency in construction industry. It has been generated on the European sample, but taking into account features of our country conditions. The employees of « Bureau of technics » acquainted listeners with history of occurrence and advantages of this Russian standard; considered its application on an example of concrete objects; invited students to pass a practical work, to take an examination and to receive the status of the associate expert of GREEN ZOOM system.

All over the world large companies care about the nature and try to reduce consumption of power resources. These companies adhere to concept of a sustainable development, when economy, social component and ecology are considered in a complex, co-operate among themselves. The system of certification GREEN ZOOM created in 2014 urged to lower power consumption of buildings, to raise quality of their internal environment, to create really favorable conditions for life and work of people.

«Very soon green building construction will not be simply actual - it will become obligatory», - the speakers of the seminar summarized. The listeners asked a lot of questions and expressed interest in the next training.
