On 27 September, the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics held the second intellectual game on logistics and supply chains "Elective". 15 student teams from Moscow, St Petersburg, Ryazan and Samara took part in the game.
SPbGASU was represented by a team of third-year bachelor's students studying in the field of "Transport processes technology". It included Sofia Nikitina (team captain), Polina Pautova, Daniil Langinen, Daniil Konnov, Alisa Rogozina, Ksenia Shatokhina and Polina Zachesova.
The game included several rounds: a warm-up and the main game in two rounds. The SPbGASU team showed itself excellently, breaking into the lead from the very beginning. The result was first place in the "Warm-up" stage and the final second place for the entire game.
"The game was exciting and dynamic, questions about logistics were presented in unusual formats - there were no standard calculation tasks or schemes. To answer the questions, you had to think quickly and outside the box, while having a wealth of knowledge from different areas - literature, geography, English, music, sports and others. The first part of the game - a warm-up in the form of blitz, turned out to be quite difficult, we had to work hard. The second part of the game - the main one, was held in two rounds, and, unlike the warm-up, some questions were humorous, and were also accompanied by musical cues, which created a more informal, friendly atmosphere in the hall," said Sofia Nikitina.
