On 2 November, SPbGASU held a celebration for Russian and foreign students in honor of National Unity Day. It was organized by the SPbGASU International Students Council.
The feast was attended by representatives of the International Students Association of the Baltic State Technical University "Voenmech" and the Youth Society of Tajik Students (MOST). The SPbGASU First Vice-Rector Svetlana Golovina and the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Sergey Mikhailov were also present.

Opening the event, the Chairman of the International Students Council Antonia Angelova expressed her gratitude to the guests and organizers.

Sergey Mikhailov spoke about the history of National Unity Day and emphasized its importance. “The very presence of this holiday in the calendar indicates that all of us living in Russia are focused on preserving historical memory,” he noted.
The participants enjoyed the festive concert. Ikhda Prosetia, an SPbGASU student from Indonesia, and Stephanie Dimitrova, a BSTU "Voenmech" student from Bulgaria, deputy chairman of the International Students Association of this university, sang songs in their native languages.
Participants of the Youth Society of Tajik Students sparked the guests with Pamir Tajik dance.

A bright dance was performed by the SPbGASU Mongolian creative team. The hosts of the event, Sabrinakhon Solehzoda and Aigul Orazdurdyeva, invited the guests of the holiday to answer quiz questions. All those present had the opportunity to try national cuisine and learn the secrets of their cooking. Active students who took part in preparing the event were awarded with gratitudes.
“We hold this feast every year with the goal of introducing representatives of different nationalities to each other, broadening their horizons and worldview,” said Sabrinakhon Solehzoda.
