Students of the SPbGASU Faculty of Forensics and Law in Construction and Transport and the Faculty of Economics and Management joined the All-Russian military-patriotic event “I am writing to you, hero!”, which was initiated by the Ministry of Defense with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.

Deputy Dean for Discipline of the Faculty of Forensics and Law in Construction and Transport Oksana Karnaukhova noted that the action is a popular form of moral support for fighters on the front line and mobilized military personnel.

“In their letters, the guys thanked them for their perseverance, courage and defense of the Motherland. We are sure that soldiers need warm words of support during the difficult times. The students also prepared New Year’s greeting cards,” explained Oksana Gennadievna.

Associate Professor at the Faculty of Forensics and Law in Construction and Transport, curator of academic groups of first-year students Elena Kuzbagarova added that on their postcards the children drew a warrior-defender, New Year's scenes with the main wishes: health, perseverance, overcoming all difficulties and returning home with victory.

“For fighters, every news from family and friends is important, as well as from those who share their views, support their morale and believe in them. This action gives students the opportunity to express gratitude and respect for military personnel,” says Elena Viktorovna.

Representatives of the Faculty noted that the collection of letters and their sending was organized by the SPbGASU Youth Policy Division.
