SPbGASU team: Sofia Myagkaya, Daria Zvonareva, Ksenia Seifetdinova, Kristina Demina and Aleksandra Kolesova

On 26 March, the St Petersburg Law Institute affiliated to the University of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation held the III Interuniversity Student Olympiad on Economic and Financial Security. Along with SPbGASU, teams from many universities training students in the specialty “Economic Security” took part in the Olympiad.

SPbGASU was represented by the team “VAT” (“not eVerything About capiTal”) consisting of second-year students of the Department of Economic Security of the Faculty of Economics and Management Aleksandra Kolesova (captain), Kristina Demina, Daria Zvonareva, Sofia Myagkaya and Ksenia Seifetdinova. The team was led by PhD of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Economic Security Vladislav Uskov.

For the Olympiad, it was necessary to prepare a research paper to complete the task “Scientific Essay” on a topic specified by the organizers.

The next task was "Welcome" activity, during which the teams came up with their titles and presentation videos.

The third stage was testing of team members on current issues of economic and financial security.

The last stage involved the case task, that is solving a problem close to practical conditions in the field of ensuring economic security, financial security, including issues of financial literacy.

In a bitter struggle, our participants took third place. We congratulate them and wish them further success!
