SPbGASU students took their first steps in developing entrepreneurial skills by taking part in the fifth season of the federal youth entrepreneurship development program “I’m in Business” from the “Captains” charity foundation.
The “I'm in Business” program is designed to increase the level of entrepreneurial literacy and provide students with additional opportunities for self-realization. The fifth season of the program started on 5 March and ended on 14 May.
The program included 25 SPbGASU students in five teams. For two and a half months, the guys, under the guidance of Oleg Dneprov, mentor of the “I’m in Business” project, PhD student of the Department of Land Transport and Technological Machines, mastered the program and developed their business ideas.
The course program included nine master classes, eight practical assignments and the final workshop “Battle of Projects”.
In the final on 14 May, our university was represented by second-year students of the Faculty of Automobile and Road Building Nikita Bescenny and Nikita Kazantsev with the project “Tool of Self-Development”, who took fourth place, as well as fourth-year student of the Faculty of Economics Ka Kumba and fourth-year student of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services Aleksandra Sokolova with the project "StroyNovatika", which took ninth place.
A total of 47 projects took part in the final workshop.
Since January 2024, SPbGASU has been forming an ecosystem of youth technological entrepreneurship, which will create conditions for the formation of entrepreneurial competencies, the development of project activities, will strengthen connections with industry partners and practice-oriented training.
