On 27 March, students of the Faculty of Automobile and Road Building and the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services had a meeting at SPbGASU with Aleksandr Malov, who participated in the special military operation. He spoke about his combat experience, examples of courage and heroism of our soldiers. Aleksandr Malov was mobilized on 30 September, 2022. After being wounded, he returned from the combat zone nine months later. Awarded the Zhukov medal.

Aleksandr shared with students what was happening on the front line, how priorities, values and attitudes to life were changing. He emphasized the importance of human relations in the army, based primarily on trust in each other. Students learned that every advance requires careful preparation, strict discipline, courage and incredible dedication from everyone.

Students asked questions about the emotional state in extreme conditions, security measures in the SMO zone and the situation in the liberated territories. Many admitted that they took a new look at military service. Students were also interested in the possibilities of providing financial assistance to military personnel and civilians. SPbGASU carries out work on collecting items.

The meeting participants expressed sincere gratitude to Aleksandr Malov and everyone who is fighting for the security of our country.
