Tajik Youth Eager to Study at SPbGASU
From 11 to 13 April, 2019, SPbGASU delegation participated at the Eighth International exhibition ‘Russian education. Dushanbe 2019’ where students, their parents and everybody interested could know more about education in Saint Petersburg; more than one thousand people visited the booth of the University.

Yulia Ivanova, Dean of the Office for International Studies: “Centre for International Programmes of Tajikistan Ministry of Education and Science invited SPbGASU for the exhibition. It is not our first time here; every year Tajik youth is greatly interested in our University and eager to enter it. Today’s exhibition visitors are attentive not only to Bachelor’s degree programmes, but also to Master’s and even postgraduate studies. They have taken all the booklets we prepared’.
Together with Russians, Tajiks can study free of charge or pay for their education. Currently 61 intramural students and four students from the Faculty of Part-Time Students get their degrees at SPbGASU. Russian university diploma allows them to develop science and economics of their own country and professionally fulfil themselves.
SPbGASU delegation visit included a meeting with Centre for International Programmes Top management where the parties discussed further cooperation. Yulia Ivanova says that the delegation may visit Tajikistan again in May to return to career guidance events.
