On 17 June, at SPbGASU, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Irina Lugovskaia held a meeting with participants in the “Voice of Generation. Teachers" program.
The flagship educational program “Voice of Generation. Teachers" was developed in 2022 by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). In 2023, 1,600 people from eight federal districts took part in it. The program is designed to form a community of teachers who have systemic management skills in the field of youth policy, transmit traditional values, and use new techniques in working with youth.
Irina Lugovskaia, who participated in the “Voice of Generation. Vice-Rectors” program twice, noted the importance of this large-scale project and the favour of SPbGASU involvement.
Teachers who last year were trained at the Mashuk Knowledge Center in Pyatigorsk shared their impressions.
Senior lecturer at the Department of Construction Technology, curator of three study groups, Natalya Lukina, visited “Mashuk” from 26 to 29 August, 2023. Natalya Leonidovna said that during the training the weather was beautiful, which made it possible to participate in a large number of outdoor activities. Philosophical, psychological, and historical problems were actively discussed. I was able to get a lot of useful advice and teaching materials. “This trip is a great encouragement, motivating for further work with students,” believes Natalya Lukina.
Three deputy deans for discipline: Associate Professor at the Department of Management in Construction Olga Bochkareva, Associate Professor at the Department of Forensics Oksana Karnaukhova and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Transport Maintenance Tatiana Meshechko visited the Mashuk Knowledge Center from 3 to 6 November, 2023.
“Such trips inspire, give new strength and understanding that everything is not in vain. That the work you do daily is important. Each session is special: in our case, the emphasis was on team games, the introduction of a project approach in education, and interaction with students. This is not only a rest for the soul. This is a reboot that gives you the opportunity to look at your work from a different perspective,” said Olga Bochkareva.
“I tried to find out what other universities have that we don’t have. In comparison, I realized that we are on top,” shared Oksana Karnaukhova.
“The classes were very intense, but we had enough energy for everything. After classes we gathered around the fire, sometimes talking until two o’clock in the morning. I recommend it to everyone - both for the beautiful place, and for the sake of communication, and for the sake of interesting events. We learned a lot of useful things that will undoubtedly be useful in educational work,” said Tatiana Meshechko.
