On June 27, 2018 on the territory of the Peter and Paul Fortress, a solemn ceremony of honoring the best graduates of Saint- Petersburg universities was held. Among them was a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Saint-Petersburg Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering Ruslan Baroev. The honor to perform the State Anthem of the Russian Federation and the Anthem of Saint-Petersburg was given to the Chamber Choir of SPSUACE.
The ceremony was attended by St. Petersburg Vice-Governor V. V. Kirillov, Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction with Public Organizations R. Yu. Abdulina, Chairman of the Committee on Science and Higher School A. S. Maksimov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Saint-Peterburg S. G. Eremeev. The first Vice-Rector I.R. Lugovskaya, the Vice-Rector for External Relations and Youth Politics I. Yu. Lapina, the Head of the Department for Social and Extracurricular work with students I.V. Nuryeva, the Head of the Department for Public Relations E. V. Klimenko presented SPSUACE.
The best graduate of SPSUACE R. Baroev has already been working as an engineer at the Department of Computer-Aided Design Tools at NPO "Informatika". We asked Ruslan to tell us why he had chosen this profession.
“Builders are in demand now. I entered SPSUACE because this university specialized in Architecture and Civil Engineering. I am very glad that I had talented teachers – L. M. Kagan, V. D. Staroverov, A.V. Lebedev, O. R. Polyakova, S. V. Lanko and the others. My scientific adviser was Associate Professor of the Department of Geotechnics of SPSUACE V. V. Konyushkov. I am satisfied with my diploma, because I’ve learned maximum of it. At the time of writing, I got many useful skills. It is useful for my work.”
The best graduate in 2018. R. Baroev received a bronze statuette of the Sphinx - a symbol of the Council of Rectors of Staint-Petersburg Universities, and a letter of gratitude from the Governor of Saint-Petersburg, G.S. Poltavchenko.
