In March, 2017 within the limits of the international cooperation between the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering and the University of applied sciences named after M.S.Ramaiah (M. S. Ramaiah the University of Applied Sciences) a group of five masters of I course of the Faculty of Civil Engineering SPSUACE, headed by the dean of the faculty of civil engineering A.N.Panin, visited the Indian city of Bangalore.
The masters passed the international scientific training in English «Aspects of modern civil engineering». The training included lectures, practical training and laboratory works on the disciplines for students of a specialty "Building" at the University of applied sciences named after M.S.Ramaiah, and also visiting constructed objects in Bangalore. The masters received representation about features of the local industry of building materials, about technologies of building manufacture, carrying out tests and calculation of building designs in India, familiarized with some questions of technical regulation in construction.
A big cultural program was organized for the Russian delegation: sightseeing in Bangalore and state of Karnataka, visiting a real Indian village, participation in a student holiday of a national dress Akayra and a cheerful Indian holiday Holy.
During the traineeship there were meetings with the vice-chancellor of the University of applied sciences named after M.S.Ramaiah doctor S.R.Shankapalom, the dean of the technical-engineering department professor H. K.Narahari, the head of the faculty of civil engineering doctor H. M.Radzhashekar, professors and students of the University of applied sciences named after M.S.Ramaiah.
The vice-chancellor of the University doctor S. R.Shankapal handed the masters of SPSUACE certificates on going through scientific training and expressed hope of the further cooperation in spheres of students’ exchange and teamwork in international projects.
