Federal service for intellectual property of the Russian Federation registered the invention of D.Sc. in engineering, professor of the Chair of Technology of Engineering Production Verstov Vladimir V. and PhD in engineering, D.Sc. degree student of the chair of technology of engineering production Gaido Anton N. “Method of pile driving with embedment into solid water-resistant ground”. There was issued patent № 2535860, exclusive rights of which belong to Federal state budgetary educational institution of higher professional education “Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering”.

This method refers to the sphere of engineering, and the invention can be used for driving piles into solid water-resistant ground in order to provide stability and water resistance of pits’ enclosures of various applications. The invention is aimed at improvement of reliability and water resistance characteristics of pits by guaranteed pile driving into solid water-resistant ground at the depth specified by project. Embedment is carried out by using vibration technical means having a two-phase operation mode. Combination of two successive phases in operation of these vibration technical means (harmonic vibrations with a high frequency and vibroimpulsive mode with a low frequency) gives a significant technical and economic effect by efficient operation at various stages of pile driving into mixed ground.
