Till June 29, 2016 at Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering there were defended graduation theses at the Correspondence faculty.

This year 522 students (specialties and bachelor degree education programmes) graduate from the Correspondence Faculty. “This year has become very fruitful for our faculty. We have many graduates! It shall be noted that the number of graduates could be even higher: approximately 600 people. But not all of our students reached this stage”, - said dean of the Correspondence faculty Svetlana G. Golovina.

The Correspondence faculty was established by the order of the Academic council of the University in April 1998 by joining the Correspondence faculty and the Faculty of part-time education. Now the Correspondence faculty is one of the largest in the University by the number of students. At the Faculty about 3500 students receive higher professional education.

This summer specialists and bachelors graduate from the Correspondence faculty in numerous education programmes. Among them there are the following: “Industrial and civil engineering”, “Heat and gas supply and ventilation”, “Water supply and disposal”, “Economics and management at construction company”, “Real estate expertise and management”, “Jurisprudence”, “Management” and etc.

The number of students graduating with honors as compared with the last year increased more than twice. In 2015 at the Correspondence Faculty two students graduated with honors, and in 2016 five students graduated with honors. Ceremony of congratulating students with honors and diploma awarding will take place at Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering on June 30, 2016.
