In September 2024 - May 2025, the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, together with the ANO CSP "Our Territories" is holding the "TIM Marathon of Victory", a large-scale championship dedicated to the creation of digital twins of historical architectural and construction sites and structures from the Great Patriotic War using information modeling technologies.

This was announced on 15 May by Evgeny Korolev, SPbGASU Vice-Rector for Research, at the plenary session of the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Modeling in the Problems of Construction and Architecture” (BIMAC-2024), held at the university.

The TIM Marathon of Victory is open to 5-11-grade schoolchildren, and students enrolled in educational programs of secondary vocational education and higher education. As part of the TIM Marathon, they will recreate the historical appearance of architectural and construction sites during the Great Patriotic War using modern approaches to design and modeling based on domestic software.
