SPbGASU Opens a Branch of the Corporate Department of the Minstroy RF

SPbGASU is opening a branch of the corporate department of the RF Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities, operating at the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. The corresponding agreement in the presence of Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Sergey Muzychenko was signed by the rector of the National Research University MGSU Pavel Akimov and the SPbGASU first vice-rector Svetlana Golovina.

The solemn event took place as part of the III International Construction Championship, held in St Petersburg.

The key task of the corporate department is to prepare the department’s personnel reserve, qualified specialists who have the necessary competencies to build a successful management career in federal and regional authorities.

Branches of the department were also launched at the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

“For the successful implementation of the goals and objectives of the Development Strategy of the construction industry and housing and utilities of the Russian Federation until 2030, qualified personnel, including administrative ones, are required. Expanding the pool of the corporate department of the Minstroy RF will make it possible to train specialists in this area on the basis of the best industry universities in Russia, as well as to form an all-Russian team of managers who have a common vision, the necessary competencies and will be able to effectively implement all decisions of the country’s leadership,” commented Sergey Muzychenko.

“The opening of the branch of the corporate department will allow us to combine efforts in scientific, educational and career guidance activities, to improve the training of young managers for the construction industry who have all the necessary competencies that meet the current requirements of the labor market and the tasks of modern construction,” emphasized Svetlana Golovina.
