SPbGASU Faculty of Automobile and Road Building
By decision of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association for the enlarged pool of specialties and fields of study “Engineering and technologies of land transport” on 10 November, SPbGASU hosted the second (regional) round of the All-Russian review-competition of final qualifying works for bachelor's degree in the direction 23.03.03 Operation of transport and technological machines and complexes (profile: “Automobiles and automobile economy”) in the Northwestern Federal District.
- Competition procedures and jury meetings were held remotely via video conference.
The jury included representatives from SPbGASU and other universities that submitted final qualifying works for the competition: Velikoluksk State Agricultural Academy, Murmansk State Technical University, Novgorod State University named after Yaroslav the Wise and St Petersburg State Mining University.
A total of 18 works were submitted to the competition, competing in 11 categories. In addition to traditional topics related to the design and reconstruction of vehicles maintenance and repair facilities, a number of works were devoted to the operation of highly automated vehicles, lean manufacturing technologies, alternative energy, as well as the operation of personal mobility equipment.
- SPbGASU students traditionally took a number of prizes.
Stanislav Volkov’s graduation work on the topic “Project for the reconstruction of the material warehouse of the bus fleet of the St Petersburg State Unitary Enterprise “Passenger Avtotrans” using modern technologies for automation of warehouse activities” took third place in the category “Modernization of ATP”.
Aleksey Ovchinnikov’s work on the topic “Development of proposals for organizing the maintenance and repair of vehicles of kick-sharing enterprises” took second place in the nomination “Modernization of enterprises transport workshops”.
Vadim Karasev’s work on the topic “Development of a stand for assessing the technical condition of brake systems of vehicles” took second place in the “Design of technological equipment” category.
Maksim Chuprov’s work on the topic “Increasing the operational reliability of the pneumatic system of city buses (using the example of St Petersburg State Unitary Enterprise Passenger Avtotrans)” took second place in the “Reliability Study” nomination.
Ksenia Pologova’s work on the topic “Reconstruction of Green Truck SPb LLC with the development of measures for the introduction of electric vehicles” was awarded first place in the category “Application of promising energies and materials”.
