On 13 October, SPbGASU hosted the presentation of the Russian movement of children and youth “Movement of the First”, which was conducted by representatives of the regional branch of the RMCY. Children between the ages of 6 and 18 can become participants in the movement, and bachelor's and master's students can become mentors.

The organization unites children and teenagers for the purpose of education and formation of a worldview based on traditional Russian spiritual and moral values. It includes “Youth Army”, “Big Change”, “Russian Schoolchildren Movement”. The Supervisory Board is headed by President Vladimir Putin. Educational work programs are developed by the Ministry of Education.

The "Movement of the First" organization has 12 areas of activity, including education, culture and art, volunteerism, patriotic education, sports, professional development and others.

“There are a lot of active, talented, creative students at SPbGASU. The movement will help them implement their plans, do something useful for the benefit of the country,” believes Irina Nuryeva, head of the SPbGASU Division of Social and Extracurricular Student Activities.
