On 10 January, SPbGASU held a working meeting with representatives of the Committee for State Control, Use and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments (KGIOP) of the Government of St Petersburg.

Our university was represented at the meeting by First Vice-Rector Svetlana Golovina, Vice-Rector for Research Evgeny Korolev and Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural and Urban-Planning Heritage Nadezhda Akulova. KGIOP was represented by the Committee Chairman Aleksey Mikhailov and First Deputy Chairman Ekaterina Kozyreva.

The meeting participants summed up the preliminary results of their joint work over the past year and defined plans for 2025. In particular, they defined the main vector of work of the corporate department of KGIOP at SPbGASU, as well as the stages of interaction in creating a technology for digital restoration and reconstruction of cultural heritage sites.
