World Architecture Day
World Architecture Day is celebrated annually on the first Monday of October.
The work of an architect is always in the spotlight, because its result is visible to everyone – these are buildings and structures that beautify our cities, bring comfort and amenity to people's lives.
Faculty of architecture
An architect is much more than a profession. This is a calling that requires maximum dedication and deep comprehensive knowledge. It is this knowledge that students receive at the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, which have graduated many eminent architects. Among them are Vasily Kosyakov, Nikolai Sultanov, Marian Peretyatkovich, Aleksey Bubyr, Aleksandr Nikolsky, our contemporaries – Evgeny Gerasimov, Mikhail Mamoshin, Nikita Yavein and many others.

Today's students of the SPbGASU faculty of architecture are making progress in their educational and research activities, working on topical, in-demand topics, such as the reconstruction of the "gray belt" of St Petersburg, the improvement of public spaces, and building in the Arctic.
The education received at their native university allows SPbGASU graduates to maintain and develop architectural traditions, generate bold innovative ideas, and look confidently into the future.
Congratulations to all architects on their professional holiday!
