Young people from Uzbekistan dream of studying at SPbGASU
The international educational exhibition "Education and Profession 2021", which took place in Tashkent on May 14–15 and in Samarkand on May 17, became a notable event for university applicants, their parents, and representatives of educational organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering was represented by Deputy Head of the International Relations Division Yulia Ivanova.
“The applicants showed great interest in our university. I think this is due to, first of all, the high quality of the educational services provided, reasonable prices, as well as the fact that the SPbGASU brand is known far beyond the borders of Russia,” believes Yulia Ivanova.
✔The exhibition was organized by the non-governmental educational institution “Rosobrazovanie”. Young visitors got acquainted with the possibilities of obtaining higher education in universities of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan. Another purpose of the event was conducting negotiations on cooperation and partnership between interested institutions.
The exhibition in Uzbekistan was followed by an online roundtable organized on May 20. It allowed future students and their parents to get answers to all their questions about admissions and studying at the university. Participants were interested to learn about the organization of the educational process, about living conditions in the student dormitory, and the cost of training at SPbGASU. Not everyone knows that citizens of Uzbekistan can study in our university not only on a paid basis, but also apply for state-funded places.
Currently, there are about 900 foreign students at SPbGASU. More than 100 of them are citizens of Uzbekistan.
