SPbGASU volunteers

The volunteer movement is a global phenomenon that knows neither national borders nor barriers between religions and cultures.

The SPbGASU volunteer headquarters was founded in 2015 by a group of initiative students with the aim of developing volunteer activities at the university. In 2023 the headquarters has been renamed into Club. This movement provides gratuitous assistance to people in need, as well as assistance in the organization of leisure and extracurricular activities of students.

The main task of the Club is to work with volunteers, conduct training in order to improve professional skills, and actively participate in organizing events.

The Volunteer Club is:
  • assistance at the events organized by SPbGASU and St Petersburg;
  • interaction with city, regional and all-Russian projects;
  • interaction with St Petersburg universities;
  • participation in all-Russian volunteer forums.

Donation

Donor campaigns in city blood transfusion points have been held since 2017. The campaigns are carried out jointly with the regional project "Donor Fund". In 2018, the SPbGASU donor cell was recognized as one of the most active among the donor cells of St Petersburg universities.

Culture

The Volunteer Headquarters interacts with the city organization "The Alliance of St Petersburg Volunteers", together with which it participates in international events. SPbGASU volunteers worked at events in the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Ethnographic Museum, the Museum of Russian Railways, and helped organize the Recon historical festival.

Event volunteering

Assistance in organizing various events at the university and in the city, such as the "Golden Faculty", a job fair, a BIM championship, etc.

Volunteers of the Victory 

The movement started at SPbGASU in 2020. Together with the all-Russian project “Volunteers of the Victory”, we participate in all-Russian and international events, help in the improvement of memorable places and take care of veterans.
