The SPbGASU Scientific and Technical Library (STL) of is one of the oldest university libraries in Russia, having more than 1 million publications on construction and architecture in its funds, today it has become a multidisciplinary space for gaining knowledge and self-realization.
The STL main activities:
- ensuring the interaction of the library and structural divisions of the university in the field of a unified electronic information and educational environment (EIOS), maximum integration of the library segment - resources and services - into the research and educational activities of the university;
- provision of verified data for the formation of the information policy of the university; collection, storage, provision of access, selection and promotion of the most valuable information sources for users in all formats, with the priority of sources in digital form;
- revealing the scientific and educational potential of the library fund through a collection of rare books and participation in projects to create digital platforms, creating, promoting and reflecting its own content.
The STL activities are aimed at creating a comfortable information and library environment that contributes to solving the problems of multi-level training of highly qualified, socially responsible specialists based on modern scientific methods and educational technologies.
