The SPbGASU Test center was founded in 2015 as a structural subdivision of the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Accredited in the national accreditation system (accreditation certificate No. RA.RU.21CT39, entered in the register of accredited units on 20 May, 2015).
In its activities, the SPbGASU TC is independent of manufacturers and consumers. This excludes the possibility of administrative, commercial, financial or other influence affecting the results of construction product testing.
The Center is guided by the current legislation of the Russian Federation, organizational and methodological documents of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart), the Federal Accreditation Service (Rosakkreditatsiya), the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation (Minstroy of Russia).
The center has three units:
- center for mechanical testing of structural units;
- center for testing of construction materials and products;
- center for physical and technical testing of structural units.
The staff of the center includes highly qualified specialists with the appropriate education, training, qualifications and experience in conducting tests in the declared area of accreditation.
