Curriculum Development Council (CDC) is a permanent advisory and coordinating body, whose competence includes the issues of normative regulation of educational relations, as well as the development, implementation and updating of basic and additional professional educational programs.
The main goal of the CDC is the implementation of the educational policy formulated in the SPbGASU Development Program for 2023–2032, improving the quality of graduates education.
The CDC activities are aimed at solving the following tasks:

development of practice-oriented educational programs based on CDIO standards with the inclusion of e-learning and distance learning technologies;

digital transformation of basic and additional professional educational programs;

active involvement of employers and their associations in educational activities through the joint development and implementation of practice-oriented educational programs, carrying out of practical training for students;

development, approval and submission for approval by the SPbGASU Academic Council of draft local regulations on educational activities;

improvement of the methodological support of the educational process, the introduction of innovative educational technologies, the

generalization, dissemination and promotion of the introduction into the educational process of the best practices of the methodological work of the SPbGASU departments and faculties, as well as other educational organizations;

formation of proposals for improving the effectiveness of educational and methodological work of the teaching staff, advanced training of teaching staff, organizing and conducting educational and methodological conferences, seminars, competitions;

coordination of the Faculty Curriculum Development Commission activities.
Under the Curriculum Development Council, there is an expert council formed from among representatives of the real sector of the economy, associations and unions of employers, SPbGASU graduates, whose activities are aimed at developing relevant and practice-oriented educational programs, assessing the quality, relevance and expediency of implementing educational programs, promoting the implementation into the educational process of components that meet the demands of the labor market.
