Teachers of the department cooperate with construction and design organizations, participate in solving problems of assessing the explosion and fire safety of objects and the technical condition of buildings and structures, as experts test construction equipment and materials, as well as various municipal facilities for extreme loads.

The department conducts active scientific research in the field of ensuring labor safety in the construction industry, developing monitoring and control systems, ensuring the safety of technosphere objects. All this makes it possible for our teachers to put their knowledge into practice when solving complex engineering problems, and on the other hand, to use the gained experience in teaching. Senior students are usually envolved in this work as well.

Our graduates are in demand in construction and beyond. They are necessary in the conditions of modern development of society and production.
