Scientific activity of the Department of Legal Regulation of Urban-Planning Activities and Transport

University students, under the guidance of teachers from the Department of Legal Regulation of Urban Planning, take part in research work and various scientific conferences, competitions and round table discussions.

In 2018, the students took part in a SPbGASU competition of grants for the implementation of student research projects funded by the university’s extrabudgetary funds: the Department presented seven works. The following students were among the winners:

  1. Julia A. Ilyina, gr. 7-Yu-2, supervisor Associate Professor M. A. Matveyeva, Candidate of Economics. The Smart House concept at the example of St. Petersburg
  2. Ekaterina N. Maksimova, gr. 7-Yu-2, supervisor Associate Professor E. M. Sharyapova., Candidate of Philosophy. Improvement of the St. Petersburg territory as the most important task of the city urban development
  3. Tatyana S. Golovankova, gr. 1-Yu-4, supervisor Professor N. N. Zhilsky, Dr. of Jurisprudence. Modalities of the system of contract procurements for state and municipal needs in the construction.

The Integration of National System for the Development of Scientific, Creative and Innovative Activities of the Youth of Russia all-Russian public organization announced the “My Legislative Initiative” all-Russian competition for the best work among the youth of educational and scientific organizations. Under the guidance of E. A. Sharyapova, assistant professor at the Department, the following works were presented and awarded with 1st degree diplomas and received medals “For the best scientific student work”:

  1. Tatyana S. Golovankova, gr. 1-u-4. On the matter of a system approach in the sphere of procurement to ensure state and municipal needs in the construction sector
  2. Anna V. Kozlova, gr. 4-u-3. The importance of public discussions and public hearings for the progress in urban development.

The Decree of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation of November 2, 2016 No. 63/602-7 announced the all-Russian competition for the best work on the electoral law and electoral process, improvement of the legal and political culture of voters (referendum participants), organizers of elections to government bodies, local governments in the Russian Federation and election campaign participants. Student P.V. Sakhina (gr. 2-Yu-2) took part in this competition with the work “Political Parties as Subjects of the Electoral Process”; supervisor: Associate Professor E. A. Sharyapova. The presented got to the regional stage.

The Commissioner for Human Rights in St. Petersburg, with the support of the St. Petersburg Committee for Science and Higher Education, announced the competition of student works named “Human Rights 2016”. Students took part in this competition in two categories: “Essay” and “Poster” under the guidance of Associate Professor E. A. Sharyapova

University students under the guidance of Associate Professor E. A. Sharyapova took part in the 70th all-Russian scientific and practical conference of students, graduate students and young scientists on the “Topical problems of modern construction”, held at SPbGASU on April 5-7, 2017. The meeting of the section of legal regulation of urban planning took place on April 6, 2017: 24 people took part in the section, nine reports were heard, of which two reports were recommended for publication:

  1. T.E. Kulakova, gr. C. Prospects for the development of urban economy in the Russian Federation.
  2. A.P. Shport, gr. C. A comparative analysis of the RF urban economy development with the development of the Smart City program abroad.
